Every pet parent has had that moment. You're standing in a store aisle, squinting at the back of a bag, wondering what "meat and bone meal" actually means - and whether it's something you'd be okay feeding your dog every single day for the rest of their life.

We had that moment too. Except we couldn't stop thinking about it.

ChowWow started with one uncomfortable question: why is it so hard to find pet food that's honest? Not fancy. Not imported with a price tag that requires a second mortgage. Just genuinely good food, made from ingredients you'd actually recognize, at a price that doesn't punish you for caring about your pet.

India's pet food market has exploded in the last five years. Walk into any quick-commerce app and you'll find dozens of options everything from budget bags padded with fillers to ultra-premium imports priced for people who buy their dogs birthday cakes. (No judgment. We've done the cake.)

But the middle ground? The brand that's nutritionally solid, ingredient-transparent, fun to buy, and built for Indian pets and Indian pet parents? It was strangely empty.

Indian dogs and cats have different dietary needs, different heat tolerances, different activity levels than their counterparts in Stockholm or San Francisco. Yet most of the "premium" options on the market were formulated elsewhere and imported here as an afterthought.

We wanted to build something different. A brand that treats Indian pet parents as smart, informed, and deeply invested in their animal's wellbeing because you are. A brand that doesn't hide behind jargon or obscure its ingredient sourcing behind vague marketing copy. A brand that looks good on your shelf and works hard in your pet's bowl.

That's ChowWow. The name says it simply: Wow in every chow. Every kibble, every pouch, every treat made to earn that reaction from your pet and from you.

We're launching with three product lines across dry food, wet food, and treats for both dogs and cats. (Yes, both. The dog on the logo has a cat hiding in his ear. Look closely.) Everything is formulated with real, named protein sources. No mystery meat. No fillers dressed up as features. Just food that does what food is supposed to do.

We're a young brand, and we have a lot to prove. We're okay with that. Proving things is how trust gets built.
