ChowWow started with a simple belief- if you wouldn't eat it yourself, your dog or cat shouldn't have to either. So we built something different. Meals made with real chicken, real vegetables, real fish sourced fresh, cooked clean, and delivered to your door.

We're not a multinational brand with a factory somewhere you'll never see. We're a small team of pet parents who got tired of settling, and started doing something about it.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PACK

I'm Abhishek. I grew up in Himachal, where a dog isn't a "pet" it's family, plain and simple. My wife grew up the same way. So feeding Casper, our 11-year-old, was never a question of whether to feed him well - only how.

Here's what we kept noticing. Over the last ten years, we changed how we eat - we started reading labels, swapped processed for real, asked what was actually in the packet. Because the people we love deserve better than fillers and preservatives.

But our pets? They got left on the old menu, the same bulking agents, the same mystery ingredients we'd quietly walked away from ourselves. We call them family, then feed them food we'd never accept on our own plate. That contradiction is why ChowWow exists.

Why did you start ChowWow?

"ChowWow started with a dog, a lot of label-reading, and a quiet frustration. Like most pet parents, I had no idea what went into commercial pet food until I started researching. What I found was hard to unsee, fillers used to bulk up recipes, not to nourish. Not toxic, just... pointless. And the alternative was imported premium brands that cost a fortune. There was nothing honest in the middle. So I made it. ChowWow is the brand I wanted as a pet parent, real ingredients, fair price, made right here in India."

What makes ChowWow different from other brand?

"Most pet food in India falls into one of two camps, mass-market brands that prioritise scale over nutrition, or imported premium brands that most pet parents can't justify spending on every month. ChowWow sits in neither. We're built for pet parents who've read the labels, know what fillers are, and want something genuinely better without paying luxury prices for it."

Why oven-baked dry food specifically?

We wanted a genuine process difference, not just a label claim. Oven-baking at lower temperatures preserves more natural nutrients and produces a texture dogs genuinely prefer over extruded kibble.

Are your packaging materials food-safe?

Yes, all packaging uses food-grade materials compliant with Indian regulations. We're exploring more sustainable packaging options as we grow.
