Refund & Return Policy

At ChowWow, your pet's happiness is our priority. We stand behind the quality of every product we make. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please read our policy below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or refund under the following conditions:
The product received is damaged, leaking, or defective
You received a wrong product or wrong variant
The product has expired or is near-expiry (within 30 days of delivery)
The product packaging is tampered or unsealed upon delivery
Returns are NOT accepted for:
Products that have been opened and partially consumed (unless defective)
Change of mind after delivery
Incorrect size or flavour ordered by the customer (please review product pages before purchase)
Damage caused by improper storage after delivery
2. Timeframe for Raising a Request
All return/refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
Requests raised after 48 hours will not be eligible for a refund or replacement, except in cases of genuine quality concerns reported with supporting evidence.
3. How to Raise a Request
To initiate a return or refund:
Email us at hello@chowwow.in with subject line: "Return Request – [Order ID]"
Include your order ID, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging
Our team will respond within 1–2 business days
For orders placed via Blinkit or Zepto, please raise the issue directly on the respective platform's customer support first. You may also write to us for escalations.
4. Resolution Options
Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:
Full refund to original payment method
Store credit / ChowWow wallet credit
Replacement of the product (subject to availability)
Resolution will be communicated within 3 business days of receiving your request.
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
UPI / Wallets / Net Banking: 3–5 business days
Credit / Debit Card: 5–7 business days
Bank Transfer (NEFT): 5–7 business days
Actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. ChowWow is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.
6. Return Pickup
For approved returns, we will arrange a reverse pickup at no cost to you. Please ensure the product is packed in its original or equivalent packaging. Products returned without prior approval or in unusable condition may not be processed.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. To cancel, email hello@chowwow.in immediately with your order ID.
For quick-commerce orders (Blinkit, Zepto), cancellation policies of the respective platform will apply.
8. Subscription Orders
If ChowWow introduces subscription plans in the future, specific cancellation and refund terms for subscriptions will be outlined separately at the time of subscription sign-up.
9. Quality Guarantee
Every ChowWow product is made with quality ingredients and goes through quality checks before dispatch. If your pet refuses to eat a new product, we encourage you to transition gradually. However, if you believe there is a genuine quality issue, please reach out to us — we are happy to help.

Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order?
Browse products, add to cart, and checkout via our secure gateway on chowwow.in. Or order on AmazonZepto for fast delivery.
Can I modify or cancel an order?
Yes, within 1 hour of placing it. Email hello@chowwow.in immediately. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, net banking, credit/debit cards, and popular wallets. All transactions are processed through a secure, encrypted gateway.
I didn't receive an order confirmation — what do I do?
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, email hello@chowwow.in with your registered phone number or email and we'll look it up.
My package arrived damaged — what now?
Photograph the damage and email hello@chowwow.in within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
How long does delivery take?
Website orders: dispatched in 1–2 business days, delivered in 3–7 days. Blinkit/Zepto: 10–30 minutes in serviceable areas.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns for damaged, defective, or incorrect products within 7 days of delivery. Opened food cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless the product itself is defective.
How long does a refund take?
Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation when initiated.
What if my pet didn't like the product?
We understand palatability varies by individual pet. We can't accept returns on opened food where the issue is preference, not a product defect. We recommend buying one pack first before stocking up.
